Tools in Instant Composition for Voice and Body
with Giulia Matteucci (Bologna), Chiara Cortez (Rome) and Julia Zipprick (Cologne)
We’ll be working on strengthening the integration between voice and body, and building confidence in bringing movement into our improvisation.
We’ll explore real-time composition skills, learning how to respond to and build on our partner’s musical proposals.
We’ll also focus on how to craft and develop interesting melodic ideas, and how to shape and inform our solos in a small-ensemble improvisation.
